Our Work

September 29, 2014

The Lugar Center and the Arms Control Association hosted a dinner discussion to review arms control policy issues related to Russia, including the INF Treaty and the New START. The session featured Stephen Rademaker, a National Security Project Advisor at the Bipartisan Policy Center and former Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Non-proliferation, and Steven Pifer, Director of the Arms Control and Non-Proliferation Initiative at the Brookings Institution and former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine. In addition to addressing topics related to the treaties mentioned above, the speakers discussed broader questions of arms control strategy in the context of Russia’s activities in Ukraine.
